Salmon Stew
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 300g salmon, cut into chunks
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 carrot, peeled, cut into chunks
- 2 potatoes, peeled, cut into chunks
- 800mL chicken stock
- 300mL Bulla Cooking Cream
- 1 broccoli, cut into chunks
- 150g white or brown mushrooms, halved
- Salt, to taste
- Ground black pepper, to taste
- Mixed herbs, to taste
Cooking Directions
- Heat a heavy bottomed pot and add in oil & butter.
- Pan fry salmon chunks for about 1 minute till 80% cook. Dish out and set aside.
- Add garlic and onion into the pot. Fry till fragrant.
- Add carrots, potatoes, and chicken stock. Boil for about 8 to 10 minutes.
- Stir in Bulla Cooking Cream and bring to a boil. Then, add in broccoli, mushrooms, and salmon chunks.
- Allow to boil for another 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Sprinkle with some mixed herbs and serve with bread, pasta, or rice!
